Traffic Crash Investigation

The Traffic Bureau is committed to improving traffic safety through traffic enforcement and education. Traffic Officers develop strategies that will most effectively increase traffic safety for the citizens of Boulder city and those visitors traveling to and through Boulder City. The Traffic Bureau is constantly evaluating traffic collision data, complaints, and comments by our citizens and road engineering problems to make our roads safer. Some of our strategies include but are not limited to high visibility traffic enforcement events and traffic checkpoints, public education, and targeted traffic enforcement.

Other Services

  • Conducts follow up investigations on hit and run crashes
  • Responds and documents crashes on private property
  • Responds to parking and traffic complaints
