Licensing & Fees

In 2017, Boulder City passed an ordinance that made spay/neuter mandatory for pets with very few exceptions (see ordinance here Opens a New Window. ). Licenses are available at the City Hall Utilities Office and the Animal Shelter. A valid rabies vaccination certificate with date of inoculation indicating spay/neuter status is required to purchase a license (invoices are not accepted). Licenses must be purchased annually.
