1. What time do you have open gym?

Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department to verify changes to this schedule, 702-293-9256 Monday thru Thursday 7am-6pm. Main open gym hours Monday - Thursday 3 p.m.- 8 p.m. Friday 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday Closed

2. How do I reserve an area of a park or facility for parties and other events?

Start by creating an account on our new online portal, RecDesk. Select the facility you would like to request.  Fill out the facility use application which give us more information about your event. You will receive a reponse from the Parks and Recreation Department within the next few business days.

3. How do I find out what classes you are currently offering?

Our brochures are updated twice a year. Fall/Winter brochures are updated in September and Spring/Summer are updated in March.


Brochures are available at the Parks and Recreation Office, 900 Arizona Street. Brochures can also be picked up at BCTV, Boulder City Chamber of Commerce, the Library, and the Senior Center.

4. Is there a spring break/summer program for kids?

We offer spring break and summer parks at our Recreation Center. Kids from kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome to join in on the fun. We offer games, crafts, organized games, field trips and much more. Stop by the Recreation Center for more information.

5. When is the water on at Veterans' Memorial Splash Park?

The water is turned on from May - October.

6. How can I get a memorial bench in one of Boulder City parks?

You can purchase a memorial bench through the Parks and Recreation Department.

7. Where can I skateboard in Boulder City?

Veterans' Memorial Park has a designated skateboard area with ramps, jumps and rails.
