BOULDER CITY - Clark County School District's Safe Routes to School is excited to announce a free helmet fitting and distribution event in partnership with the City of Boulder City tomorrow, Thursday, September 18, 2025 for students in need. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to keep students safe while traveling on our roadways.
The event is supported in part by Boulder City’s new ordinance, effective September 18, 2025, which requires all minors to wear helmets when riding bicycles, e-bikes, and e-scooters. This ordinance is the strongest in Clark County and fills important gaps not covered by state law. With your support, we can ensure that students are equipped with both the gear and education needed for safe riding.
We kindly ask you to spread the word to students in need who ride bicycles, e-bikes, or e-scooters to and from school and encourage them to meet us at their designated event location. This will help ensure that students who rely on micro mobility devices have access to properly fitted helmets.
